Ministry of Education Recognizes ICS 12th Grade Graduation Certificate as Equivalent to Baccalaureate

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has announced it recognizes the 12th grade ICS diploma as equivalent to the high school baccalaureate issued by the Ministry.

To ensure the quality of the degree, the Ministry of Education will establish a committee composed of the Department of Education Quality Assurance, the Department of Secondary Education and other relevant specialized departments, to regularly monitor the curriculum and learning process of ICS International School, to ensure the school is complying with standards for curriculum evaluation and the performance of private educational institutions that train international curricula. These standards must be equal to the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry further states that it still has the right to revoke or reject the 12th grade diploma issued by ICS International School if there has been an examination of any inaccuracies in the study process, or inaccuracies in the decision to award a degree to a student.
